# Battle Pass
**Play when you want to, and earn your way during the Age of Discovery.**
The Battle Pass gives users the ability to earn Jewels and Equipment actively and/or passively. Pick up a battle pass, fight with your Pioneer and Adventurer Kaiju, stake your Genesis. Earn.
If Free to Play is more your style, then connect a wallet, build a team using our f2p Kaiju, and battle through Hooligan’s Bluff for daily glory.
**Battle Passes launch every 2 weeks, and they last for 2 weeks each.** This provides constant community earning opportunities that are easy to jump into at any time.
There are 20 levels in each Battle Pass, and each one has a reward. The Age of Discovery Battle Passes that launch every 2 week yield ***7,000 Jewels, 3 common Treasure Chests, 3 uncommon Treasure Chests, and 1 rare Treasure chest*** if completed.
If you complete your Battle Pass by playing the game as opposed to staking, you'll can earn up to an additional 10 Jewels per day that you play via the F2P Jewels that all players earn.
To unlock a Battle Pass, you pay a $5 fee in Arbitrum ETH, MAGIC, or ARB.
This fee keeps out bots and sybilers and concentrates economy ownership within our most dedicated community members, and helps fuel game development.
